Turquoise – A gemstone admired for millennia

Turquoise is one of the oldest known and most highly prized decorative and gemstone materials. Its characteristic blue and blue-green shades are primarily due to its copper content, with colors ranging from soft greenish-blue to brilliant sky-blue.
